Day with
@korehalal_trip

You know it becomes scary to make big plans. It is always that thought in one's mind - it is OK as it is , do not change anything (especially if you have children, why mess with their routine), etc, etc, etc. So, one day I was scrolling through "famous" Instagram and found @korehalal_trip. The idea of going to Korea was there, but it was not planned or elaborated properly yet. And @korehalal_trip focused on places, cafes, restaurants and advice for foreigners ( particularly important for muslims). Logically, I started following them. Then, they did a competition. I participated and thought to myself...if Iwin this, I am buying ticket and following my dream. Like I needed some sign or something :) :) :) Guess what, I WON!!!!! I never win anything, have not won even a candy in my whole life. And now suddenly I won!!! A sign??!!!!

Not long after arriving in Korea, I contacted @korehalal_trip. My prize was the best with no expiration . All I had to do was come to Korea and choose one of their packages - modern history tour, K-pop and K-drama tour and others. Although, I do enjoy my music, I went for the modern history tour. The children loved it. Up till this day, they still remember our fantastic guide MJ and the whole educational, professional and entertaining day. We met MJ at Anguk station . The weather I have to say was dreadful - cold, windy and grey - but HEY, no complains, WE ARE IN KOREA. Everybody wants to be in Korea :)

First, we went Bukchon Hanok Village - one of the most iconic, amazing and historical places in Seoul. A must visit!!!! Our guide showed and told us why, where, how, when and if all about. The next stop was Donuimun Museum Village. Apart from being able to see and experience Korean lifestyle in older days, it is also a must visit place for an Army, because BTS filmed one of their Run BTS episodes there. Goosebumps... Full of knowledge and emotion, we thought if could not get better, but it could. We went to Gwanghwamun Plaza and experienced breathtaking sunset at Cheonggyecheon. The Stream is magical especially for sunset or sunrise lovers. And then came culmination. It was Ramadan, so we had spent all day fasting and embracing Korean culture and hospitality. Nothing would have been better than to finish the day with a warm meal. Well, MJ had read our minds:) He took us to Itaewon to one of the best halal food restaurants in Seoul  - EID. Owned by Koreans, served by Koreans and halal Korean food. Can anyone top that???

Here you have it  - long story short. The main point here is ...trust yourself and your intuition and follow @korehalal_trip. They are the best in their field. You will spend an incredible time in Korea, especially if you are there for a shorter holiday. Looking forward to my next adventures with @korehalal_trip. Inchalllah. And MJ you and all @korehalal_trip team are very welcome to visit Latvia or Algeria. And for all other travellers, you are more than welcome to contact me for advice or chat , I can plan a great holiday for you because I already passed the scary part :)
